We want every homeowner to be able to request a match, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
Our standard
Handvetted.com is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. In practice that means every page has a logical heading structure and a skip link, all form fields have visible labels, colour contrast on text and controls meets the AA ratio, every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard, images that carry meaning have text alternatives, and motion respects the "reduce motion" setting on your device.
Known limitations
Our request forms open inside an embedded frame served from our partner dashboard. If the frame does not resize correctly for your screen reader or zoom level, the same form can be opened directly from the link under the frame. The explainer video on the homepage is hosted by a third party and may not expose captions in every browser.
Tell us
If any part of the site is difficult to use, tell us through our contact page and describe the page and what went wrong. We aim to respond within two business days and to fix confirmed problems promptly. You can also request a match by phone through the number on our contact page if a form is not working for you.
